Foundation BONEVET Pejë within the project “Education for Employment” is holding two-month training for young people in the Municipality of Peja

In the framework of the “Education for Employment” project that is being implemented by sub-grantee BONEVET Pejë, during February – March, the first trainings in the field of Graphic Design are being carried out for young people from the Municipality of Pejë. The training for Graphic Design is being held by an expert in the field who for 32 hours will train a total of eight young beneficiaries of this activity to gain new knowledge on this field of work.

Graphic Design training focuses on acquiring knowledge in the latest Adobe programs; Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. Through these professional programs, young people aged 18-25 will be able to create their unique designs. They learn to design posters and brochures, create company branding, create content for social media, and present portfolios. Through this training, young people also develop soft skills such as critical thinking and visualization, market research, updating designs and their presentation, group communication, organization, and presentation skills: verbal & visual communication.

In addition to this activity, BONEVET Pejë, through the five-month “Education for Employment” project, will offer other professional training to develop the digital skills of the young participants and thus prepare them for the labor market.

The project aims to offer a practical, quality education and development program that is relevant to the demands of the labor market for young people in Kosovo. As such, it will enable young participants to easily connect with the labor market. Through this project, young people in the age group of 18-25 years of the Municipality of Peja, who come from urban and rural areas, from minorities, and young people with disabilities, will benefit.

This activity is being implemented within the framework of Financial Support for Third Parties (FSTP) of the Kosovo Youth Participation – KYP project implemented by the CARE International, office in Kosovo, with the financial support of the European Union (EU) office in Kosovo.
