CARE International in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Sport held 8 Information Sessions on the State Strategy for Youth 2024 – 2032

Within the “Kosovo Youth Participation” – KYP project being implemented by the CARE International office in Kosovo, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) eight information sessions were held in eight municipalities in the Republic of Kosovo.

The information sessions were organized in coordination with the Directorates of Education at the local level and principals of the schools, and were held in “Ismail Dumoshi” Gymnasium in Obiliq/Obilić, “Hivzi Sulejmani” Gymnasium in Fushë Kosova/Kosovo Polje, “Jeta e Re” Gymnasium in Suharekë/Suva Reka, “Kuvendi i Junikut” Gymnasium in Junik/Junik, “Hajdar Dushi” Gymnasium in Gjakova/Đakovica, “Bedri Pejani” Gymnasium in Peja/Peć, “Xhelal Hajda – Toni” High School in Rahovec/Orahovac and “Tafil Kasumaj” Vocational High School in Deçan/Dečani.

257 youngsters from these eight municipalities were informed about the State Strategy for Youth 2024 – 2032, and for the first time they were familiarized with the “European Youth Card” and the benefits that this card will bring for young people aged 15-29 in Kosovo and which they can also use in European countries.
